As one of the newest entries in an already busy competitive landscape for spas in the St. John’s area, Ocean Quest Spa was able to generate a strong start and loyal clientele within their first year in business. This was largely due to their focus on an exceptional customer experience, friendly and highly-trained staff, and a unique location well off the beaten path as a spa in Conception Bay South.
Still, they knew there were significant opportunities waiting to be discovered and higher levels of customer service that a website could deliver. They contacted Lorne Pike & Associates and asked us to deliver a new website that would do exactly that, while also maintaining and even heightening their presentation as a spa with taste and an exceptional focus on their customers.
We delivered a new website that met all their criteria, while also giving them for the first time ever the ability to sell products and gift cards online, and accept booking requests for any of their treatments and the staff member of the customer’s choice. We also provided a makeover of our own, providing a new logo design that was more consistent with the branding they wanted for their spa.
The new website not only generated new revenues but did so while saving the company significant staff time, since it took over many tasks that had previously tied up front-desk staff, which meant they were now freed up to focus on providing even better care for their customers. We then topped it all off with training sessions to ensure the staff were comfortable with the new website’s operations and updates.
